When you click on the name of a Job, you will be taken into the job details view where you can see more information about the job, and take other actions.

This article includes:

Key areas

The key areas of the job details view are:

  • The job title, followed by the summary information about the job (as you saw in the job list view).
  • '<-- Previous', 'Back to list' and 'Next -->' links to help you view the details of the previous/next job in the list, or return to the job list view.
  • The buckets (recruitment stages) that relate to the job.
  • On the left-hand side of the screen, you will see Information about the job details, followed by the History log of events that have occurred with the job.
  • On the right-hand side of the screen:
    • App panels - you may see information panels relating to SnapHire Marketplace apps that have been installed for your tenant (e.g. 'Candidate buttons' in the example below.  Please refer to relevant App information for more information about the panels appearing).
    • Job widgets - any job widgets that are applicable to the job / your site (e.g. 'Candidate match' in the example below).

TIP:  There are some Job menu items that are only available when you are in the detailed job view (e.g. Job \ Preview).

Job information

The left-hand side of the screen shows you the current job setup, along with job history information.  The information includes the following.

Job family:
Information about the job family/families the job belongs to.  Job families are configured based upon the needs of your organisation.
Application workflow:
Information about the application workflow selected for the job.  This workflow defines the buckets and processing steps each application to the job will move through.  Your organisation may only have one 'Default workflow' used for all jobs, or may have customized workflows for different types of roles.
Status:
This section provides status information such as if the job is currently visible on your organisation's careers website; and if it is published as a 'Top Job' on the front page of your careers site (your organisation may not display 'Top jobs' on your careers site, or it may have renamed them 'Latest jobs' or similar); if it is a Standard job or one associated with a Pipeline etc.
Associated people:
The people associated with the job.  Each name is a link that you can click on to view their account details.

One associated person will be indicated as the current 'Job coordinator'. The job coordinator is the main controller of the job and is usually the Recruiter, but for some organisations/situations, it may be the Manager or a Processing Agency user.
Workflow data:
Key pieces of job data/information that have been selected by your organisation to be 'highlighted' here.
Key dates:
Dates that relate to the job such as when it was created, last updated, posted to your organisation's careers site, and when the job status has changed to closed.
Profile:
The values by which this job has been classified via the Categories tab of the job wizard (e.g. Location, Expertise etc.).
History:
The events that have happened with this job.  The heading for each event (blue text) is a link that can be clicked on for more details about the event.   If there are a large number of items to be displayed, then the expand/collapse feature will be available.

Job widgets

The job details view also gives you access to any applicable job widgets that allow you to undertake further activities with your job. The widgets that appear will depend on the configuration of your site, the type of job, and the permissions you have been granted.

Job approval

If your organisation uses the Job Approval feature within SnapHire to manage the approval processes, and the type of job you are reviewing is linked to job approval, the job approval widget will appear:

The widget will display details of the job approval chain setup for the job (i.e. which users, in what order), and where the job currently is in the approval process.  More information about the job approval processes in SnapHire is available here.

Appointment slots

If your organisation uses the Appointment Booker feature within SnapHire to manage the booking of appointments (e.g. an interview), the appointment slots widget will appear:

The widget will display details of the current appointment slots set up on the job.  More information about the Appointment Booker feature in SnapHire is available here.

Unlisted link

The unlisted link feature allows you to provide a URL link to specific people inside or outside of your organisation.  This feature means that you can allow people to see and apply for a job as long as it is open (whether or not the job is currently visible on your careers site):

This feature is useful for allowing late applications when the application close date has already passed (and therefore the job is no longer appearing on your careers website), or to restrict the applications to the job by only releasing the link to a specific audience.  More information about the unlisted link feature is available here.

Posted to job boards

If your organisation uses the feature within SnapHire to post jobs directly to some job boards (e.g. Trademe), the posted to job boards widget will appear:

The widget will show you the details of any postings.  More information about the job board posting feature is available here.

TIPS:

  • Depending on your site configuration, this widget may not be visible (because your organisation does not use this feature, nor wish to display it).
  • Even if this widget is visible, you will not be able to use it unless you have been granted the permission 'Can post to job boards'.

Posted to agencies

If your organisation allows recruitment sourcing agencies to submit job seeker applications to some/all jobs on your site, then you will see the details of which agencies have been invited to participate with the job are available through this widget:

More information about posting jobs to agencies is available here.

TIP:  Even if this widget is visible, you will not be able to use it unless you have been granted the permission 'Can post agencies'.
