Overview

New applications to open jobs will arrive in a bucket designated for new applications, typically called 'Incoming' or similar, except where a 'Knockout' has occurred based upon their answers to specific job application questions.  Please note that your site may be configured to have more than one incoming type of bucket (e.g. one for applications received via the SnapHire application wizard, and another for other methods).

The example below shows six new applications in the 'Incoming' bucket:

TIP:  For more information about job application questions and the knockout and scoring processes, please refer to the article 'Job wizard - Questions tab'.

From candidates

When viewing applications in the bucket view, where the candidate has submitted their own application you will see:

  • a blue dot next to their name to indicate if they are an external candidate.

OR

  • a green dot next to their name to indicate they have been recognized as an internal candidate (employee).

From agencies

Candidates submitted by an agency (to a job to which the agency has been invited to participate) arrive in a bucket designated for new applications.  Agency users submit applications via your organisation's careers site.  When viewing applications in the bucket view, where an agency has submitted an application on behalf of a candidate you will see:

  • the words "Agency sourced" next to their name to indicate they are an agency candidate.

TIP:  For more information about utilizing agencies, please refer to the folder of information about 'Staffing (Recruitment) Agencies'.
