Home navigation tab

The home navigation tab shows you information which relates to your account and its use of Business Objects:

Documents navigation tab

The Documents navigation tab contains the folder structure of the existing reports:

Working with folders

In this navigation tab you can navigate through the folder structure to find the report you are looking for - either double-click on the folder name, or click the expand / collapse buttons (+ / - ).  When you have a folder name selected, the reports that are contained within the folder are visible in the right-hand pane.

TIP:  If the folders list is not visible, it may be because you've clicked on the "My Documents" or "Search" headings in the left-hand pane.  Click on "Folders" to return to the folder view.

Opening a report

When you have a folder name selected, the reports that are contained within the folder are visible in the right-hand pane.  To open a report:
  1. Double-click on the report name; or use the right click menu, and select view.
  2. The report will open in a new navigation tab (i.e. to the right of the Home and Documents navigation tabs above the menus/toolbar).
  3. Most reports are made up of more than one tab of information - these tabs are called "report tabs" and are located at the bottom of the report data:

TIP:  You can have multiple reports open at once, each report will appear as a new navigation tab.
