The 'My details' information looks different depending on the type of user who is viewing it.  This article includes:


Information for Recruiter users

Overview

When you click on the Account navigation tab you will see information about your SnapHire Recruiter account.  For example:


The content is grouped under the headings Your personal details, Your system preferences and Other details.  You can use the "Edit your details" link at the bottom to update any of the information or reset your password.


Your personal details

Full name:
The full name associated with your account is made up of the information entered into the First name, Middle name (optional) and Last names fields (after clicking Edit your details).
Email:
The email address associated with your account.
Phone number:
The phone number provided.
Signature:
This is the default signature that has been set for your account.  If you select a menu item that generates an email via SnapHire (from the action menus on the left-hand side of the screen), and the message has been configured to include an email signature, this is the signature that is used. You can amend this signature here in the Account tab (after clicking Edit your details).

Locale:

Set the relevant locale for you.  This is used, in combination with the time zone information (below), to display the correct time/date stamping when viewing historical information (for example; data fields, job seeker registration/application dates, history items etc).  In addition, it is used for other features of SnapHire such as Appointment Booker.

Time zone:

Set the relevant time zone for you.  This is used, in combination with the locale information (above), to display the correct time/date stamping when viewing historical information (for example; data fields, job seeker registration/application dates, history items etc).  In addition, it is used for other features of SnapHire such as Appointment Booker.


Your system preferences

Theme:
Use the drop-down selection to choose the colour theme for your account.
Number of results in lists of jobs (use 0 for default):

Change the number of jobs you see by default when looking at a list of jobs.  If 0 is entered, the default set for your site is used.

Number of results in lists of job seekers (use 0 for default):
Change the number of job seekers you see by default when looking at a list of job seekers in a bucket view, or in the Seekers tab.  If 0 is entered, the default set for your site is used.

Default job saved search:

Use the drop-down selection to choose the job saved search which should be used by default when you click on the "Jobs" tab.  Learn more ...


Other details

PGP encryption key:

If your organization uses PGP encryption keys for encrypting email messages, and you are allowed to receive encrypted emails, your uniquely generated key is entered here.  Learn more... 



Information for Manager users

Your personal details

Full name:
The full name associated with your account is made up of the information entered into the First name, Middle name (optional) and Last names fields (after clicking Edit your details).

When you generate an email that includes your signature, you are able to edit your signature for the email you are about to send.  If the changes are ones you want to keep for your default signature, select "Save changes to your signature".

Your security settings

Users you who trust:
If required, use this field to add or remove other managers to/from your trust list:
 

When you add a manager to your trust list, they will be able to find/view your jobs and any associated applications to those jobs.  In addition, they will be able to take the same actions you can with the applications to your jobs.

  • To add a manager, click on the "Choose" link to open a manager search window.  Scroll or search for the manager, then click on their name to add them to your trust list.
  • To remove a manager from your trust list, click on the name of the manager in your trust list, then click the "remove" link. 
  • Remember to click the "OK" button to save the changes to your Account information. 
Users who trust you:
These are the users who have granted trust to you.  To find the jobs that are associated with these managers, in the Jobs tab, click the "Refine this search" link and then 
  • Click on the + symbol next to "that have manager”.  Either select “Show jobs for any manager” (to see all jobs for any manager who has trusted you), or select "Show only jobs with manager", click the "change" link, select the manager whose jobs you wish to find. 
  • Then click the Search Now button at the bottom.
  • Click on the + symbol next to "that have title or code", and enter the job code or title.

  • Then click the Search Now button at the bottom.


Other details

PGP encryption key:

If your organization uses PGP encryption keys for encrypting email messages, and you are allowed to receive encrypted emails, your uniquely generated key is entered here.  Learn more... 


Information for Agency users

Agency users who have been granted the permission 'Allow agency user to process jobs' (i.e. Processing agency users) can see the Account navigation tab when signed in via the Recruiter site.  The processing agency user sees the same information in the Account tab as a Recruiter user (refer above).
