Improvements
Search performance improvements
SnapHire 10.9+ delivered a new search engine which powers the new quick search and 'Candidates' tab. The new engine indexes historical data to drastically reduce search response times. However, some clients with particularly large databases have experience overall site slowness after the upgrade. We have changed the way the indexing works in order to speed up the process and return the site to optimal performance faster.
General bug fixing
Quick search doesn't return all relevant Hiring Managers and Agency users
When using the quick search, users who don't have the permission "Can view all jobs across recruiter teams" couldn't find other users without a team. As per previous behaviour, when a user is assigned to a team they should be allowed to find users within their own team, as well as users who are not assigned to any team. Users are still not allowed to find users in other teams.
Candidate search returns an error when filtered by date
In the rare occasion where the search engine filter is not available (e.g. the index is generating after the upgrade from version 10.8 to 10.9) a search on the 'Candidates' tab would fail should the selected search contained a date e.g. 'Last login'. This has now been fixed so that no error is returned even in the case where the search index is not available.
