Overview

This article describes the contents of SnapHire version 10.9.0. This version is available for general release from 2nd April 2024.

Details

This release includes:

  1. Improvements
  2. General bug fixing

Improvements

This version includes the following improvements:

  • The Candidates tab has been completely redesigned with quick filters, a new search bar and new candidate marking icons to improve the user experience.
  • Added the ability to refine searches on the new Candidates tab using private and team tags.
  • Added a new screen for managing saved searches. This allows all users to edit their private searches and users with the "Can create job saved search" permission to edit public searches.
  • Added a new self-service functionality for our clients to manage their own value sets in SnapHire. Access to this is available once recruiters have been granted the "Can manage value sets" permission. A value set is a group of values that can be referenced in questions. For example, to provide a predefined list of interview locations or reasons for screening out. Value sets can be referenced by multiple questions so that a single list of values needs to be maintained.
  • Added the ability to CC/BCC any job 'associated user' (e.g. additional managers) on action emails.
  • New popup notifications for candidates' responses to text messages. Notifications also stay in the notification center (bell icon) until manually dismissed.
  • Images in the image gallery are now sorted by date, from newest to oldest, so that most recently uploaded images now appear at the top of the list.
  • Improved error messaging when trying to upload an invalid image to the image gallery.
  • Category images used in candidate marking icons now accept images in SVG format which are always displayed in high resolution regardless of the size of the screen and the browser zoom level.

General bug fixing

This version corrects defects introduced in previous versions of SnapHire:

  • The 'Default job questions' tab in a candidate's application form may not appear when a section is not explicitly specified. This only happened for questions that were created in the previous version of the application form (released in April 2021).
  • Category value images were not saving correctly.
