- General bug fixing
Improvements
This version includes the following improvements:
- When using Apply with SEEK, the candidate details coming from SEEK (name, address and CV) will now override existing candidate details stored on your site. Previously, if a candidate already had an account on your site, their existing details would prevail over their SEEK details, diminishing the value of the Apply with SEEK functionality for returning candidates
General bug fixing
This version corrects defects introduced in previous versions of SnapHire.
- The value in dropdown fields in the new application form couldn't be cleared even when the field was non mandatory. Now the value cannot be removed if the field is mandatory but can be removed otherwise
- After clicking on the apply button and log in, candidates were randomly redirected to your careers home page, forcing candidates to having to find the job again in order to apply. Now after login, candidates will land on the same job they were when they clicked 'Apply'.
- After the upgrade to SnapHire 8700, for users on Internet Explorer, the left menu on SnapHire recruiter was visually broken, with some field appearing on the main section of the screen. Please note that as per our previous announcements, Internet Explorer is soon to be retired and bugs specific to this browser will not be fixed after 2nd August 2021
- Inactive advertising tracking codes were visible to candidates when the code visibility was changed from "Active - available to all" to "Inactive". The transition from "Active - hidden to job seekers" to "Inactive" was behaving correctly. Now inactive tracking codes are not visible to job seekers regardless of their previous status
