About this report
This report provides a detailed breakdown of application behavior for all Hired candidates (defined as having been <Marked as “Hired”>, and having a <Hire date>) over a specified period of time. Information is provided in a charted format; and as a data set for detailed analysis. An additional tab offers a simple tool to monitor the time taken to process each Hired candidate. Input control functionality allows for dynamic data interrogation and comparison of similar data sets from within BusinessObjects. Alternatively the entire report can exported to Excel where any of the Excel analysis tools can be used.
This report can also be scheduled as an Excel spreadsheet and emailed directly to recipients on a regular basis.
Use this report to answer questions such as:
- How many hires have been processed in the specified time period (e.g. this week, month, year etc)?
- What is the average time to hire for a specific job, recruiter or business group?
- How busy are different recruiters?
- Which media sources are delivering your Hires?
- Are any Hires from employee referrals?
- Which recruiters / business groups are efficient at getting candidates through the hiring process; what inefficiencies are evident by bucket stage?

Report structure
This report is made up of four tabs:
- Hires report - this tab provides a graphical representation of the key elements in the report.
- Hires data - this tab includes all of the raw data that is included in the parameters of the report. This raw data can be easily interrogated using Input Controls or alternatively exported to Excel for further analysis using the suite of Excel tools.
- Hiring velocity - Use this table to identify how long it takes to process a Hire (and how long candidates take to pass through the application process). Note that Time to Hire is calculated from the date the job is opened to the hire date of the candidate. This tab provides transparency over the hiring process and is ideal for comparing and analysing smaller sets of comparable data
- Parameters - this tab includes all the parameters and prompts that were used to create this report. If required, here you can check what information the report is based on.
