Overview
This article describe the contents of the version 8463 SnapHire product release. This version is available for limited release from the 7th June 2017. This release is limited as it is only required for specific clients who have extremely large numbers of jobs and job seekers. The contents of this version will be packaged into the next general release of SnapHire product.
Release details
This version contains one set of changes which make up a volume based performance fix in regards to the way SnapHire indexes jobs and job seekers. Previously some SnapHire sites with extremely large numbers of jobs and job seekers may have experienced slow periods due to the way the database indexing was processing when users updated jobs (e.g. job title, category selections, descriptions etc), and/or job seekers updated their profiles (e.g. their personal details, resume etc) concurrently.
In this version we have refined the way the indexing works so that all of the job and job seeker processing still occurs as expected, but does not impact the speed of the site.
